My father lives at work(literaly) and they haul him all over the state(FL). He is looking to get an internet service, and perhaps combine that with a satellite TV bill. It has to be satellite because he moves ALL THE TIME, and preferably as cheap as possible. He does not need speed.

EDIT: dguy6789 just informed me that you can buy a cell phone and get internet access on it, and get a cradle for your pc, which allows you to browse the web. Does any one have any more info on this? It sounds like a viable option.

Expensive with the Cell Phone. But I believe that Direct TV has an ISP option. not real sure though.

Edit: I think this link will be of some help: DirectTV (http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/imagine/Landing.dsp)

Well satelite internet as far as I know requires a dish that is somewhat larger than your normal tv satelite dish. Now if you can recieve tv signals as well on the new dish that is required to purchase i'm not sure. However, wireless internet is offered in some locations. You must live somewhat close to the unsitely antenas though. It may or may not be the same antenas giving the cell phones internet. I'm of course unsure though. As always with wireless there can be interference at times making it quite frustrating.
Satelite is somewhat expensive compared to dsl, cable, etc. Standard dial up is probably still the cheapest and most portable (as in moving from house to house).

Ahh, but he does not live in a house. He has a big fancy travel trailor that he hauls around at the jobs, no rent and few bills. Unfortunantly, no phone line or cable either.

I have been doing some research on Direcway (DriecTV's internet). Really the cost vs performance gap is huge. It is 60 bucks a month just for the internet (year contract). But the big catch is a 600 dollar equipment fee you pay up front. You can pay 100 per month for the 1st 2 years which brings the equipment to almost a grand. It only runs at 512K down and 128K up. As far as a dish, you cannot receive internet on you current dish. You need a Driecway dish. Once you have the internet dish you can do away with the TV dish and receive TV on the Internet dish but not vice versa.

It really isn't hard to do but would take time and be a pain. Look into wireless DSL (cell). It would be a portable solution.
