Hello guys, I´m about to acquire one of these ES prescotts, and I want to know which of them is better for overclocking.

While the 3.0 is 84W and multiplier unlocked, the 3.4 is multiplier unlocked too, but dissipates 110W of heat.

COnsidering AIR COOLING, which one should I get?

Unless its a good price i'd just get a 600. They are also semi-unlocked and clock alot better than those ESs

PLEASE hook me up with whatever one you don't buy ::gets on knees:: (i'm serious)

but considering you're on AC, you'd prolly achieve better overall clocks with the 3.0 84w in the longrun

actually the 3.4 isn't 110w.. the tdp of 110w is valid to 3.8ghz.. so in reality - 3.4 dissipates less power than 110...
i think for oc'ing, 3.4 is better..
by the way - what steppings are they?
