I have been having a problem with Counter-strike Source lately. During the game I experience a screen lag where everything freezes or I keep moving but everything else is stationary. I tried using my friends Shuttle on my internet and everything ran nice and smooth. I can't seem to figure this problem out. I play old 1.6 counter-strike with out any problems also. I tried reformating, turning my core and memory clocks up, enabling/disabling vsync, turning on AA, defragmenting, Running my fans on full speed, and even deframenting. This is driving me nuts! Thanks

Oh yea I am using the main rig in my signature.

Do you get this lag when a CT or T is in your face shooting at you?

I think there is a hack which causes your opponent to shutter while you frag. Thus an advantage! I would not be surprise.

This is not my connection. My first ms hop out of my router is 15~17ms. Also I tried my friends shuttle on my internet just to check to see if it was the source of the problem. His source ran fine with out any chop. This lag usually occurs at random intervols. Basicly I keep going and everything around me stops.

Edit:: Could this have anything to do with running SLI? I know its not perfected yet. I am just curious if SLI has anything to do with it.

settings are too high. drop them down. like resolution, and quality. try playing with everything on medium or low. or also try lowering your clock speeds. esspecially ram speeds.

Ok thanks for your input guys. I just solved the problem. The source was a sound problem. I set my speakers to 5.1 and it solved everything. All silky smooth now! Bustin 100+ fps.
