Problem with Windows Media Player

I keep receiving an error saying "An internal Application Error has Occured" I have tried reinstalling WMP but it keeps ending up saying "Windows Media Player was not installed on your computer" right near the end of the installation. Any ideas?

Nevermind I checked Google and found this link, solved the problem real easy. Just had to register some dll files...

yah i got a problem with wmp as well whenever i try to stream media from a IE page, it closes that IE page and wmp itself, ive tried everything, i even this ur little tip and nothin, i think once march break comes a long im gonna format my machine....
