In 'Monitor Properties\Adjustments' there's an option for composite sync. If I enable it nothing unusual happens but there's less tearing. I heard that enabling this option can damage a monitor!! Obviously it has not affected my monitor but I was wandering if it will damage it over time.. is it safe to use??
And what does it do??
By default there was only Horizontal enabled and I had huge tears. Enabling the Vertical option made a big difference, very few tears at 120hz. But what is this compsite sync, my monitor specs say it supports separate sync..but no mention of composite sync??
