CompUSA has the "built-by-ATI" x800xl's in stock, for $299. Picked one up yesterday in Wichita, KS. Thought some of you might be interested in knowing.

wow could this mean ati is finally resolving their supply issues with x800xl? If ati can make them as widly avail. as 6800gt they can really bite into that market

Well said, but I should say that when I called CompUSA to confirm this post, they said they had them, I put one on hold immediately. When I went into the store, they did not have them on the shelves yet, the employee had to go in the stock room to get mine and bring it out. Oh well, I'm happy :)
