Hello

I was just wondering if it was possible to network between Win98se and WinME and be able to have access from both computers to each other?

And how could i setup my DirecPC 1 way USB internet connection to share it with my other computer?? I downloaded www.internetshare.com and download the All Aboard server from the site but how do i set this up ? Do i make my computer with the DirecPC modem connected to it Network off the DirecPC USB or do i use it off the Ethernet card??
Do i need to install the DirecPC software on my other computer or just the Internetshare software?

Thanks

There should be no problem networking Win98 with WinME, "It should just work."

I have not used DirectPC or Internet Share before, but setting up Internet Share is probably just like every other proxy.
-Allow Incomming Connections on your Ethernet Card
-Send all Outgoing Requests to your USB
-Set the server computer's Ethernet Card's IP to be: 192.168.0.1, then set all other computers to be 192.168.0.[2-254] )
-On all the other computers, go into IE Properties and in Connections, set the Proxy to be 192.168.0.1 (and the port that the server uses)

More common proxies are:
Wingate
Sygate
AnalogX's Proxy
Windows Internet Connection Sharing
