Hi,

I want to build a new PC and could need your advice in choosing the right combination of components. I am planning to go for a Athlon 64/6800GT setup, because in the future I may want to build a SLI link with another GT card. Also I want to be able to unlock the cards pipelines and overclock them and the CPU if necessary. What do you think about the following setup, would it be suited for overclocking?

Mainboard: Asus A8N-SLI nForce4
CPU/Cooler: AMD Athlon64 3200+ Winchester - Cooler: Thermalright XP120 with Sharkoon 138 m² fan
Graphics card: Leadtek WinFast PX6800 GT TDH PCI-E
RAM: Kingston HyperX DIMM Kit 1024MB PC3200 DDR CL2-3-2-6-1T (PC400) (KHX3200AK2/1G)

welcome to the forums.
sounds like a good combo. that should give you a pretty decent rig although if you can get a faster processor
