I think this belongs in AMD Mobo sections. but there is nothing in there... so
I have an Abit KT7-RAID Mobo, and the fan on my NorthBridge chipset died like a year ago...
I was just wondering, if I put a Blue Orb on it, will it help my stability at all?..or will it just be a waste of money...

Please post in the proper topic. I read both AMD CPU and AMD Motherboards topics..... if people dont follow the topics, order goes straight down the toilet.
Yes, replacing the northbridge fan might help. If the HS on the NB is getting noticeably hot when you touch it, it's too hot.
The BLORB should work.

I think if you could get an old 486 fan to put on the northbridge sink it could be good enough, depending on the heat going into the sink, and would cost a lot less than a Blorb.

Get some thing else instead
the actual use of blue orb r for people who use all PCI n CNR slots but the gfx card is too hot so they wanna change fan ....however, they can't get big fan so they will have to use a small but effiencient one
for Northbrige, get one of those suckie ones $5-$10 HK dollars (30cent US - 80 cent US)
since it is only a KT133!

a blorb is for looks....but it works quite well
anyways the green heatsink that came with my a7v works great and i don't plan on upgrading it as it can do 133+ fsbs and does not get even warm when i touch it
