Hey peeps, i've heard in different places, that the A7V board that i currently have, being the 200mhz fsb version, is the same as the 266mhz fsb version, and that there is a way to make my board use the extra 66mhz ... fact or fiction??..
if yes, how?... if not, why not ?.. open to all suggestions about this board :)

this all depends on your board rev version

1.04 or higher uses the kt133a chip and it can do 133+ fsbs

i have a rev 1.05 and the max i got it to go is 145 fsb as my ram isnt all that great

when you say board rev, do you mean bios rev ?.. it was originally shipped to me as 1.03, but since flashed it to 1.08..

Yeah, i have the same problem.. my ram is not great.. just hyundai made pc-133mhz.. does anyone know about this VC-133mhz ram ? all i know its its made by NEC.. Virtual Channel Ram.. but have no idea on pro's an cons of that type of ram, and whether it could be used alongside pc-133 ram also..
