Any way to tell two cards apart?

Hi, I bought a "9700PRO" of ebay and I am having my doubts as to whether it is a flashed 9500NP or not. Maybe a flashed 9700NP too. Is there any way to distinguish the card at all? Any way possible? I am thinking this red anodized metal plate over the voltage chips on the back. It is held on by two plastic pins. There were no plastic pins holding on the metal plate that came on a 9700pro I used to have that I know for sure was a 9700pro and the metal plate on the for sure card was bare anodized aluminum with no color. Both cards were built by ATI cards. Maybe the ram on this card will tell it apart? Here is what it says on the modules:

any stickers with serial numbers? u can look them up on ATi;s site i beleive.

MY 9700 PRO HAS THOSE PLASTIC PINS AS FOR TELLING IF ITS MODED LOOK UNDER THE HEATSINK SEE IF THE YELLOW STUF HAS BEN REPLACED OR IF THERE IS SLOPY SOLDERING ON THE 9700/9500 RESISTOR

THE ONE WITH THE ARROW IS THE FIRE GL RESISTOR THE ONE NEXT TO IT IS THE ONE THAT U NEED TO LOOK AT
