I've been planning on buying a new 478 pin P-4, so I've been surfing around looking for a good cooler. This is a new CPU design, so not a lot of coolers available yet. I stumbled across this article that might be worth reading if you're interested.

In addition to what was mentioned in that article, looks like Thermaltake has a Volcano cooler and Vantec has a GSN 7015 cooler, both also for the 478 pin P-4 CPUs.

Ok, so I didn't actually say it, but I was hoping others would post additional socket 478 cooler info too. Please? Thanks in advance.

Well i just got my vapochill and its the best cooler out there. They just made a new upgrade kit for the socket 478 here: Vapochill 478 (http://www.vapochill.com/news/index.shtml?id=97)

They got a 1.7ghz socket 478 cpu to over 2.3ghz. I recomend you get one. I am trying to decide on what system to put inside mine.
