I need the latest drivers for a Compaq 56K-DF (Lucent) V.90 internal modem, the one I have is from 1999. THANK YOU!!!

Thanks Death, but i'm running windows 95... I know this has to be outdated. My modem is V.90, and I want to try and "milk it" for what it's worth. :mad:

try searching for them in the compaq softpaqs or download.com

i found my compaq-lucent 33.6k modem drivers at download.com

I did install the Compaq "SoftPaq" v.90 drivers, but they are from 1999. I have seen some improvement, but still my downloads are @ 3.23 KB/Sec :mad: Would that be considered "average"?

I dunno my modem (all I know is it mentions Rockwell alot and it's 56K), but with AT&T worldnet, I am usually getting 4-5Kb/s. Even as high as 6 sometimes. With Juno, I usually got 3-4Kb/s.

I'm running the Windows standard V90 drivers, and I get 5-6kb/s downloads. GoZilla averages at 5.1kb/s over a 4 hour download.
