someone help me here. i flashed my 6800u to a 6800gt bios for faster mem timings and i was only scoring like 8000 in 3dmark03. so i flashed back to a regular 6800u bios and it's still doing the same thing. the weird thing is that the troll cpu test in 3dmark 03 is running at literally 0-2 fps. also, i noticed that cs:s source is running slower and is glitching a lot. this is all very alarming to me.

im using the same drivers i was before, the forceware 71.20's. i even tried different drivers and reinstalling 3dmark03 but to no avail.

anyone know what is going on here? maybe just not a good bios i reflashed with? anyone got a good 6800u that is stable?

any help would be appreciated. thanks.

ok, well i flashed an evga 6800 ultra bios on it with no problems, but it's still doing the same DAMN THING!. one thing i noticed the whole time is that it's saying pcix0 as the bus. like this:

is this normal? im pulling my hair out here.

well i won't reinstall windows, but i will try uninstalling all my drivers, resting the cmos and flashing system bios. we'll see how that goes. absolute last resort is reinstalling windows.
