i snapped the outlet on my pump :cry:. I'm sure that i can find a replacement at a hardware store, but how do i get the broken part out?

Whew, ok, i got it out. i feel like such an idiot now though, i was trying to get the tubing all the way onto the threads, but i twisted it too hard and the plastic gave in. i just got it today too.

LOL calm down bro. you're luck as the barb is plastic not brass or else say bye to your pump ;)

i'm now working on combining the barb of the broken piece with the threads of another attatchment i'll never use.... i'll let you know how that goes when i'm done.

no, it would have stripped the threads on the pump. The outlet barb was in it, and i was trying to screw the hose onto it.

lick your babrs before you put the tubing on, i know it sounds REALLY stupid, but it really works wonders - it lubricates it enough for the hose to slide over, and it'll evaporate within few minutes and the hose will be a b**** to get off at that point (incase u screw up, licking also lubricates the barb if u need to pull off the hose soon after you put it on)

i found that it really comes in handy for putting my WC loop together

Anyway if you've ever experienced with "quick fitting" type, you know it require lubricance. Well, i use my gfs ... chap stick LOL, ofcourse i never gave it back. ... I wonder what would she do if she find out i stole her chapstick .... LOL
