i got the mp3+, cus thay didnt have the xgamer and the platnum is RELLY expencive, but it relly dosent matter cus there all the same bord with diffrent softwhere bundels.

the sound qualty is better, and it got some new features like firewire onbord ect.

thats on the live drive, but yes, there is optical too.

the values arnt out yet but the mp3+ and xgamer are $99 at compusa and the platinum is $249(its got a new live drive too :) )

The Augey or however it's spelled isn't part of the Live! series, it's supposed to be much better, and costs about $100.

the audigy does 5.1(and digatal 5.1), and has just about any audio port you could imagine on the optional brakeout box(including optical)

Wonder how it compares to the Santa Cruz?
I got the S.C. because of the Via problem awhile back, I heard that the Audigy has the same problem with the Via south bridge, wonder if thats true?
