WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!
Nope. Not by any means. Usually 2.9v is where some rams don't do well, or it may be higher where they start doing well. Depends on the chips in the ram.

I've heard D43 is a pretty good OC'er, but i don't know personally. As far as voltage goes, different ram=different volts. Some ram needs it(BH-5, utt, BH-6, some CH-5) some ram doesn't(TCCD). Find out what chips you have, then you'll know.

yes peel off the dudley heat spreaders if they have them and read closely on the the little black chips on the stick .. right down what it says and post them up
i wanna say hynix but could be way off .. cant remmeber what kingston used in its lines of ram ..
hynix arent terrible but they not great either .. i think its max taste for volts was 3.3 .. have to research a little though .. cant be 100%

The max volts for my ram is 2.8v doesnt seem to be very high.
I ran prime95 lsat night, woke up and my computer was restarted. So im guessing this is a little much for my computer, but all my temps and fine and stuff. should i lower my voltage a tad and bring my FSB down a lil too? some people have been tellin me 1.7v is a lil to much
