now if you havent beat KOTOR 2 dont read any further, because as it deals with the end of the game this thread contains many spoliers

If you havent Played KOTOR2, you should.

*****************************SPOLIERS************* **********

I beat KOTOR2, but the end didnt seem to go together very well for me. Did i just not talk to my people enough to understand what was going on. For instance, what is that interrogation droid you get doing, why does he want to stop the remote. Whats the point of having kreia ressurect Hanharr so you can kill him agian. The part where you have to fight hanharr did not make any sense to me, it just seemed kind of stuck in in their. Is Malachor 5 blowing up and your ship running away really all that in the ending movie. also it seemed kind of weird, because rather than having 1 end game boss and one midgame boss like most games or like KOTOR1, KOTOR 2 seemed to just have 3 Endgame bosses that you fight in succession

BTW
Planet Order = Korriban->Onderon->Dantooine->Nar Shadaa (crappiest order ever, got no chance to use HK47 and weird interrogation droid)

Played Lightside

Did not kill kreia at the end

The recommended order is Dantooine/Nar Shadaa, the one you didn't do out of thjose two, Onderon, Korriban.

The ending was really open for KotOR 3 probably. I think all questions will be answered in the next installment--although KotOR 2 was not as good story-wise as the first, it's probably becuase Obsidian knows they have a hit series on their hands that they can add to every few years.

For the most point, I agree. I wish more had been explained but there is always KotOR 3.

The ending is even worse on the dark side. It serisouly made me mad. I think I did the conversation wrong with Kreia at the end.

After a very brief talk (like 3 lines) I ended up throwing her into the pit, saw the ebon hawk crash down. Then roll credits.. I mean WTF!? I never knew what happend with the remote.. no closeur.. just "The End". Horrible ending.

On another note.. did anyone find the fight through the school at the end, where you encounter a ton of dark jedi, retardedly easy? I did, just master speed and master flury with a double sided lightsaber and in one attack I struck down anyone, even the Lords. I never had a scarry "I might die" moment.

The first game struck me as much better.

I never used stasis field once. I wore lightening +10 gloves. If things got bad I do death field to heal myself. I had like 30 life support packs I never needed.

I've said countless times in other threads since I beat it in early January that the end of KOTOR2 sucked and that the game as a whole was a rehash of KOTOR1, Atton=Carth, Hanaar and bounty hunter chick =bad versions of Zalzabaar and Twi'lek girl, T3=T3, HK47=HK47 blah blah blah blah. Now you believe me don't you?

Yep, agree with guy above me. It wasn't as good as the original, no way.

I loved the Malak/Revan thing and as for the twist, well that was kick ass, and the whole Star Map Thing.

I did enjoy the map with the Mandelorians though.

The game was to rushed definatly. It's far to buggy, the ending was poo. Iam waiting for a patch to come out to fix everything before i play it again as dark side.

There also weren't enough cut scenes, and you just felt lost in the whole thing, the story that is. Also that Darth Nilhus or w/e his name was, what was the point of him? easy fight, 3v1, wtf?

And as for Korriban, no point in that map again beat it in like 1 hour. :bang head

Yes, Nilhus was retarded. You'd think you'd unmask him and he'd be somebody recognizable or something, but noooooooo he's nothing. Also, what happened to the rule of only two Sith? There's only supposed to be one Master and one apprentice, yet you have Kreia (which is lazily explained as not being Jedi or Sith, but face it, she's Sith and was obviously so from the beginning :rolleyes) , then there's Sion, Nillus, Atris and yourself(if you played as evil). LAZY LAZY LAZY LAZY!!!! Give the game back to BioWare.

MUST READ
The next game is obviously going to be KOTOR3 "The Seach for Revan". In which a dying Revan saves the crew of the Ebon Hawk from a reactor breach and dies, but not beforre transferring his/her concience to one of the crew and being jettisoned off into space only to land on a planet being rebuilt by the Ithorians and then getting resurrected so that you'll be forced to rediscover who you are (again) and find the crew of the Ebon Hawk to have your concience given back to you via a "force-bond". HAHAHAHAHA!!! Extra credit to the first who can tell me what I stole this plot from.

The ending cinematic was definitely rushed, it didn't explain a single thing, and didn't even give me the chance to escape off the damn planet. And yeah, wtf was the thing with the interrogation droid, did I just not talk to him enough so he sabotages the remote droid? Still, the character development and the rest of the story made it worth playing IMO.

And another thing I hated.. I never found all the parts to get HK to work. I would go to every dealer to see if they had what I needed. I ended up one part short and never got him up and going.. I love HK the first time around. That ****ed me off.

I posted on this a few weeks ago, the entire game was retardedly easy. I didnt die once, didnt even come close. With full buffs NOTHING in the game could touch me.

And the ending sucked.
And there were a ton of bugs.

Terrible game compared to the first one, I suggest no one buy an Obsidian title in the future.
