Radeon 64 vivo or gts2 pro 64 ddr?

Whick card will give me better perfomance to games,i use 1024 x768 resolution.

gts pro will get you more fps, but the radeon will get you fast 32bit colur and excellent dvd playback. depends whats more imporntant to you, quilty or fps. if you play at 1024x768 the radeon will give you enuff fps IMO. plus no performance hit when at 32bit colur.

edit: in ut at 1024x768x32 the gts pro averge's 101fps and the radeon 85.

I play almost all my games except for a few in 1280 x 1024 with 32bit color. I get more then playable frame rates IMO. Plus it looks great too.

it really depends on which company geforce you are getting

some crap --> inno3d, pyn are the two i can think of now

cheap price almost always mean crap components on the board and cheap memory so you cant get much out of the card and make it even faster!

some geforce2 pro can be o/c to somewhere around the range of geforce2 ultras and that's great although mine cant...yet...:D

I think both of them have their own good

Radeon: Smooth, Chip maker makes their own Gfx card(Which is better), Excellent DVD performances, Allows more hardware Bitmapping

GF2Pro: Fast, Aim at 3D, Good DVD performance, when using software like 3D Studio Max, this gives better and faster rendering

I myself will get Radeon
What do you reckon? Speed or Quality?

Edit your posts and say "Who has a radeon?" And ask them how they feel about it!

My pick out of the 2 would be the Radeon DDR 64 VIVO. It is will support future games better than the GF2, as its full potential has not been taken advantage of yet.

Best 2d video quality, best dvd playback, equal in framerate in 32 bit 1024x768. Sure it has less frames in 16 bit but who plays that? You can tweak this card out, it runs very cool stock, and ATI video quality is the best and thats a fact.

My pick would be a Radeon as I am one who switched over from nvidia Geforce 256 32 DDR Deluxe card.

I would get the 8500. Makes the Gfarce3 look like a S3 Virge....I wouldn't get a Diamond based one, I would get a pure ATI card.
