Well currently I'm running@ 868 and I'd like to squeeze a bit more out of it since at current I'm running 37c to 39c idle and 41c 42c underload(looping 3dmark2k)
Well I'm using the mini jet engine air cooler...er I mean dragon orb 3(7000rpm model) I feel it does pretty well considering my ambient temp isn't very consistant( nephews/family get cold so they cut air off).
Anyway what I'm thinking about doing is since my mb doesn't support bios changes to the vcore or multiplier and since I can't afford to upgrade to a more overclocking friendly motherboard(have to save money to build a barn for my horse before winter).
So what I'm wanting to do is change the multiplier on the chip to 8.0.
Question#1 What could I expect in temp increase from doing that?
Also thought about uping the voltage via the L7's, but I hate to jump all the way to 1.85 if I don't need to.
What would you all think would be acceptable voltage increase for the increased 8.0 multiplier?
IF I did increase it to 1.85 what kind of heat/speed increase would that alone result in?
