So, recently, I was opening an image file, and then my harddrive SHUTS DOWN, and then starts spinning up again... thus making my computer lock up... so im like, "yea, wtf" and hit the reset button... loads into windows, and LOCKUP...

So, now every time I get to my GRUB bootloader (I have a Kanotix/Windows dualboot), it says:

Error 25: Cannot read from source disk

...

Sometimes it doesn't even GET to the bootloader... just says "insert proper boot device and hit any-key"....

So now im running my computer with my Panaflo 92mm 56.8CFM going half-speed (controlled by Zalman's fanmate rheo that came with my 7000Cu), my NB fan unplugged, and NO cd-rom drive (I have a DVD burner and a CD burner, both unplugged)...

I have a Raidmax 420W that came with my case, the Raidmax Scorpio-868 Mid-Tower.... and YES the rails are fine

So, the moral of the story, DON'T GET A CHEAP POWER SUPPLY. GET A BRAND-NAME POWER SUPPLY, END OF STORY!

Yes, common knowledge around here, I know... but DON'T get lazy and invest in something other than a power supply if your current one is cheap.

This one goes out to you, Knivez... Switch away from your Raidmax 420W
