This is in relation to my Dual liquid cooled peltier system...
I need some suggestions on how powerful a pump I should use and I also need some suggestions on what kinda pump I should get... I need something that's pretty powerful, but won't put out tons of heat, also, do I need a special pump if I am going to use another liquid other than water? same with the radiator
I need some suggestions on a really powerful radiator.... something similar to the Lian-Li PC-70 system's (which was in an earlier thread) radiator setup.
I also want to put waterblocks on my GPU, north-, and Southbridges. I know that there are specially made ones but how hard are they to get a hold of and would it be difficult to do?

in my pc-70 i am going to use the aquiciol (jul=st like the other one) and you might also want to look at the mig momma at www.caseetc.com kinda hard to mount that one. as far as the pump iv been tring to figure out the same thing. and it probably depends what you want to pump. its probably not a good idea to try to pump liquid ox throug a fish tank pump...

I know... i'm trying to avoid liquid ox and liquid nitro...I'm looking at something like ammonia...but how good is liquid ox? is it better than water!
The main question I have is can it reach sub-zero temps? :) if it can, does anyone know of a specific pump that I'd need to use liquid ox?

lets see lox vs. water i think they use lox to cool the engens on the space shudle:mad:

lol.... screw lox then!
Do you know of any liquid that is better than water (other than liquid nitro) and is feasible for a home system?

I've heard of some people using ammonia, is that a good alternative to water?
My design right now is using water w/water wetter... it's only a draw up, but hey, it still works :D

what about water blocks? Anyone know anything special about them... I want to try and put water blocks over every major chip on the motherboard (proc, noth, south bridges) and the GPU... how hard would this be to do and does anyone know of any really good copper waterblocks that would do the trick.... or would a simple home made one be easy to make

as far as for the procesor the reactor from www.cpufx.com is the best. it has 2 pathways and fans on both sides add cooling to the water or to keep your chip from frying if the pump fails. for gpu and mobo chipsets they are all prettu much the same. and installation is fairly simple if you buy the mounting deely

Can I put a peltier on the reactor?

you got a link to the Aquicoil (or whatever it is) website where I can check the price?

probably if you had a cold plate. a thin copper block to distribute heat

I can't find the reactor... could you give me the exact link?
Thanx! This is becoming more real every second :)... I'll stop gloating now...

from places that i have read you should try to stay under 600gph because it mooves through the radiator to fast to be cooled. but you might look at www.eheim.com they make fish tank pumps and seems to be what most people use.

sweet... i could always cut up a xeon heasink and make my own ramsinks and then buy a blur orb and replace the fan with one from a super orb (or a delta if I can find one small enough).... :D
Btw, thanx a ton for the help fatshlink! I owe you one!
No thanx to Trainer for the great support
