Wanted VDIMM mod for AI7
I can't find info on it anywhere.

Post a pic of the area around the DIMM sockets and a full board shot :D

I found it.
10 or 100 Ohm (No one seems to know) from R153 to ground.

Umm, im thinking thats prob 10K or 100K :D Link me too the mod? Maybe i can confirm it

One says 10 ohm, the other says 100 ohm.
Seeing as how it can't go higher than the 3.3v, and Im after 3.5-3.7v I don't think that 10 or 100 ohm makes much of a difference. I probally could have just grounded it.

Ohk use a 100Ohm VR for greater adjustability (if you havent already done it) If you want ill send you one free of charge.... LMK

I used a 10ohm fixed resistor to ground.
I don't think I need adjustability, as my 3.3v rail is also adjustable. Seeing as how its impossible for the VDimm to ever be grater than the 3.3v rail, and I want VDimm=3.3v I think Im ok.
Correct me if I am wrong in the above thinking.
Also, Id love if someone had a way to use the 5v rail to feed the DIMMs. I really want up to 4v, but I dont think its really safe to run my 3.3v rail that high. Thats provided that I can even get that close before OVP kicks in on the PSU.

I doubt u can get to 4V w/ that PSU, but ive said this a million times lol.......ill say it again. You can lift the vdimm mosfet and solder a wire from the +5V PSU line to the source pad on the MOSFET underside. That will pull from 5V, however then you would need to change your vdimm mod. And i would really discourage you doing that because it will more than likely shoot 5V to your PLL chip and parts of the southbridge.

Doesn't matter anymore. I cooked the MB.
OVP doesn't kick into to 3.95v which is close enough for me.
