I figured it out!
I used the lm_sensors RPM provided by REDHAT.
ran the sensors-detect proggie.
edited the rc.local and the modules .conf with the
text it told me to place there.
Then I downloaded a GUI interface for the lm-sensors called gkrellm.
here is a pic of what it looks like...
It was pretty simple...
Very cool :D I am going to have to give that a try!

Gkrellm rules. It has a lot of plugins for it: volume, mixer, xmms player, mail checker, weather applet, and tons of other stuff. Search for it on freshmeat.net!
