Need some help in optimising my DDR settings. I have 256mb CAS2 Nanya 2100 DDR on a GA-7dxr MB. T-bird 1.4. My current settings are;
DRAM PH limit 8
DRAM Idle limit 8
Trc Timing 10
Trp Timing 3
Tras Timing 7
Cas Lat 2
SDRAM Trcd timing 3
Can i change anything to get better performance or higher FSB? My current FSB max is 145mhz. I have tried to set the RAM voltage to 2.7 but it did not help.

you will probably get a few more mhz by settings cas lateny to 2.5 Also try 4 way bank interleave

If your trying to get to higher FSB, you should increase the CAS latency to 2.3 and don not use 4 bank interleave.
If you want higher memery performance, decrease Tcrp timing to 2, and use 4 bank interleave.

just wondering what board or ram can be set at 2.3 case, its 2.5 and 2 no higher or lower. Myabe it was a typo? More performance form cas2 but after awhile cas 2.5 will give better performance if yoiu up it like 10mhz more, and i judt didnt have luck with 2 bank interleave. Also if you can set command rate, id recommend 1T command rate
i am at Fast Settings
cas 2
4way inter leave
1t command rate
and 10x155 - that is what i benh 3dmark at
9x169 for memory benches

Yes, that was a typo.....CAS 2.5
And you are right, IF you can make it stable, higher FSB give you better performance.
What I normally do is the following:
1.-Increase memory timings.
2.-Increase FSB.
3.-If stable, decrease memory timings.
4.-Test.
That way I get the best from both worlds :)
