Hi Guys

I Have a realy Big Problem. My system tempurature at normal load is 56 oC. Here is what I have:

Pentium 3 1000 Mhz
Asus Cusl2-c with The mad Bios tweaked version 9
Asus I Panel
512 Mb, 2 X 256 King Max pc 150 mhz
Swifttech heatsink Fan MCX370
Nvidia Geforce 2 Ultra 64 MB
2 Maxtor 30 and 40 GB Hardrive 7200
1 Creative DVD Rom, 1 Sony CD-RW
1 Belkin Firewire
1 Sound blaster live
1 Ati tv Tuner
1 d link network card
1 luscent modem
1 DXR 3 creative card

I was able to overclock everything to:
1125 Mhz FSB 150, Memory 150 (cas 2-2-2 5-7)
But temperature goes around 60 oC.

What should I do to get a nice temp.
Considering that I have already 7 Fans in my computer and that my case is Open.

Plz I need help

Those temps are a little alarming. Either the CPU probe is not accurate or you have a heat problem. I had heard good things about those Swifttech heatsinks. However, with any of those big heavy aftermarket coolers, you have to be really careful about installing them. Sometimes as you are pushing down on the sink to fasten the clip, too much thermal paste gets squeezed out. You are using thermal paste, right? Hopefully you're not using that crappy heat tape that comes with most of those coolers. Try pulling the sink off, cleaning everything back up, reapplying the paste, and then very carefully reinstalling the sink. Try not to let the sink move around as you're clipping it into place.

Hi The Rog, welcome to the Forum,
Well, your chip temps seems to be very high, especially for a Swiftech, try, like just sayed by batboy :), to reseat the HeatSink on the Cpu, and remember to use a very thin layer of thermal paste, and if still high, well, I suggest you to check the temps with an external thermal sensor between the Cpu Core & the Hsf.

I hope it helps you ;)

That's wonderful, glad you had success. However, you're still running a bit hot. I suggest doing a few more cooling tweaks to get that load CPU temp down closer to 40 degrees. Oh yeah, you're welcome. We are happy to help.

Batboys rite and if you get youe temps down you may even get a few more MHZ out of her, burning in may also help if you can reduce your CV your temps will drop.
