what is your wireless network named?
just want to see what other people came up with
mine is BACKYARDWIFI
I don't have WIFI.... :(
but If I did I would name it Countryside_Y_FI caus I live out in the countryside
I live in an apartment complex, so it's NotForPublicUse=P, with the SSID hidden (not that this alone would really do much if a geek was looking, but with 4 other visible and open networks... something tells me they wouldn't really bother :D)
BTW, this would probably be better off in "Internet, Networking, and Security" :)

The one I connect to has the rather original name "Central". Its just a wireless network that only allows port 80 for HTTP for web browsing.
Nothing fancy - no WEP although when you connect you need to put your username and password into a web based login.

Every once in a blue moon, I'll pick up a 2nd wireless network in my apt building, which is also a "Linksys". This one is unsecured (mine is secured). I haven't seen this one in a while though, so I'm thinking it was someone that moved out of the building a couple months or so ago...

hehe, I don't know why anyone wouldn't secure their wireless network, but alot of people don't for some reason. A few months ago I drove through my downtown area searching for wireless networks. I found many and only a few were actually using security. Maybe the secrity confuses them or something. I know I don't completely understand wireless networks but I still use security even though I don't fully understand it. I have a book on wireless networks that I'll have to read someday :D

Mine is my last name. But now I'm gonna change it. I'll have to find something that kicks butt. Like.... kick_butt. Ahhh crud. I've got to get original.
I too have done a war drive through town. Lots of open networks. I'm able to take my pocket PC with wifi and browse the internet while at lunch in town.

L43PMAP Network (just randomly typed the first part)
O I forgot to tell you about my network. WEP encryption (old hardware so no WPA :() SSID broadcasting disabled, and mac filtering. No ones getting into my network (well they could but why choose mine when my neighbors have unencrypted, SSID broadcasting, and no mac filtering networks)

and my own private SSID which isn't broadcast and secure is PappaChubby's LAN.....
mine's "Get_Hacked" :)
no SSID broadcast and i have a mac filter on. so you can't just drive by and get in my network :p
Mine is just USR8054, it's not secure but only two mac address are allowed mine and the other is from my other pc in the living room which is the only one connected wirelessly.
"Basement"; the same as my windows domain. Most of the computers are down here in the basement, so.....
Believe it or not, the wireless network is used to connect a computer two floors up.

mines just linksys, with minimal security, but my closest neighbours are over 500 feet away, and the road i live on is 1000, gotta love the countryside
Penel Corp. is mine. Makes me feel my company im running outta my basement is superior :) lol.
