Where's my bottleneck here?

I bumped my asus 7700 gf2 pro 64meg from 200/400 to 220/440 and lost a half frame per sec using the q2 crusher demo.Upping my cpu fsb from 133 to 145 is worth 12 fps more but why no luck bumping the vid card up?Frames in ut real time did not go up either.Q2 crusher gets 101fps and ut 100 to 130 average - see sig for rig- btw this is in 800x600

put the new XP drives in.. that alone will help you gain a few more FPS

that is very odd that you dont get a change when you oc your geforce.... Do you have fast writes enabled in your BIOS?

I do not see an option to enable fastwrite in bios.Board supports agp 4x but do to fsb it will only run in 2x.If I set fsb to 140 it will go into 4x but there is no dif in fps do to the drop in cpu speed.I'll give those xp's a try. btw does coolbits work with these drivers?

You need to use the x86 bios to get agp 4x above 140fsb with that motherboard.

Alot of people us it but its not supported by asus.
