My nephew wants me to build him a system to run AutoCad 2005 and Auto Desk ViZ. He would also want to be able to play most of the current games.
Any advice or suggestions welcome.

Ah well, the only advice I can give you is that if you buy a system that can play the latest games then most likely it will handle CAD. I use it at school and they the *DELL* computers. Nuff said about that. But yea, what kind of games does he plays??

Like I said if you buy a system that can keep up with those games It will do just fine for CAD. I see nothing that it demands so much from a computer that you would need a dully to run it.

My system is in my sig. I use AutoCAD 05 a lot. It runs just fine on my system. I sometimes wish I had more RAM, but Im not sure if AutoCAD can even use more than 1GB.
If you build a system that can handle UT2k4, then it should handle AutoCAD without any glitches.
