how much RIT?

I just picked up RIT whitener and brightener for UV properties in my loop. I'll be getting my VW/Audi antifreeze in the next day or so and plan to mix it 5% with my distilled water.

The RIT is a powder, so I'm wondering how much I should put into ~ a gallon of water/antifreeze?

I don't know about the amounts, but most pumps do not like powdered dyes. It will clog them, or get in the bearings. Find a liquid dye, or make sure that your pump will work with impurities flowing around in the water. I still would not do it even if the pump is capable.
