Weird READ THIS HELP

oK HERE IS wEIRD

AT Boot up my d drive opens on its own then after a second or 2 the c drive spins up an it opens up.

Also the arrow for the mouse moves up and down the screen on its own...this is sporadic but very annoying kinda like someone else is moving it ???

I have scaned for a virus with norton 2001 latest updates installed.

ANY IDEAS OUT HERE ?????????Trojon Horse ?? corrupt operator lol any ideas would be helpfull....

Sounds like a trojon to me. I would FFR to be sure. Other then that, maybe something wacky in your startup, start->run->msconfig for win98/ME/XP. Remove everything under startup. Good luck.

ya man someone is playing with your computer while you are not home ya know what i mean...:)...disconect your mouse this will really screw them up lol

if you think someone has control of your pc, go to a dos box and type netstat and see what is connecting to your pc,this will give you the ip add's of either the site your on,your isp's or the guy who is connected to you.
Or you can go to the Win.ini file and open it and look for a line
shell=explorer.exe -trojan_name_here.exe anything after explorer.exe you will want to remove.
Hope you don't have a trojan they are a b***h to clean !!

If it's a hacker, try to disconnect whatever connection on the back of your PC that isn't necessary (especially if you have some ethernet, or home network, take that off). Reboot, and see if it still does that

if you wanna be sure it isnt...physically disconect from externall source inputs...ie,unplug the modem..etc...if you dont get the same result walla you know where it is comming from
