I remember a few years back people who worked for big retailers such as best buy and circuit city got a huge discount on the then new 3.06 ghz and a mobo combo. I now work for circuit city and Im wondering if the site that worked from is still around or are their any deals like that right now? thanks in advance.
p.s dont know if this post belongs in this section, if not, mods feel free to move it.

Check out Intel's Retail Edge program. Sign up, and do all of the tests. When time comes for the mobo combos, you'll be ready. It usually happens once a year, around summer-time.
ya retail edge gives once a year deals for "Developers" and people of that nature making them very very worth your time. If you know a friend in retail, ask to sign up for retailgateway.com as well getting free full version software such as windows XP and such.
