All the settings in my bios, for memory, is like fast, slow, turbo. Is there any other memory settings that i can change.Does increasing fsb and pci clock , increase memory speed automically?.I feel like this is a dumb question. Thanks

Don't worry. The only dumb question is the one not asked.

If you increase the FSB you'll be increasing the memory clock also. In some mobos (I think it only happens with VIA chipsets) you have the option to run the memory clock asyncronous from the FSB. That means you can increase/decrease the clock 33 MHz from the FSB. That way you could use a 100 MHz FSB CPU with 133 MHz (or 266 MHz if DDR) memory.

If your BIOS, don't have any more settings, you can use the WPCREdit program to tweak your memory a little bit more. Check this (http://www.vr-zone.com/guides/wpcredit/) link for more information.

If you are interested, here is also the program.

if you have these things, than you can change them. Cas latency 2, 1t command rate, and 2way bank interleave, will give you good memory scores, but with those agressive settings ou wont be able to up the FSB too much

Appreciate the help mictlan and jason. Always good to get a fast response.

I like having my memory timings set for the best performance and then see how far the fsb can be pushed.
