View Full Version : Anyone use 2x1gb Giel in NCCH-DL?
I am gearing up to build my bro a 2.4ghz MO NCCH-dL duallie and I was thinking about putting Geil Ultra Series Value Dual Channel 184 Pin 2GB(2x 1GB) DDR PC-3200 w/ Blue Heatspreader (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-144-322&depa=0) in it. But I do not know if these sticks are compatible with the NCCH-DL. I don't see why they wouldnt' work, but....the last thing I want is to RMA memory at the last minuite.
Does any one have any experience with these sticks?
Its very a very cheap 2gbs of pc3200! $287 shipped! :attn: :D

The only real issue with RAM on the NCCH-DL is the low voltage range (2.5v-2.8v) available to the RAM. The sticks you listed above seem to be happy with this range according to the description, however.

i'm not sure about those particular sticks...although iirc, i read about a user at 2cpu.com that had to rma some Geil RAM due to incompatibility with the ncch-dl...
do a search over there...
i think he eventually got some stick from geil that did work...i think they were a different model than he started with...i don't know which models he had problems with nor which model worked...
i think it was Database freak
i have a set of 2x512 Geil in my PC-DL and it is running great but not sure if that helps you any
