I have a black 60mm Delta fan with my SK6. How many watts does it use? I want to stick it on my mobo power connector but i don't want to burn it out the max power it can support is 350mA (4.2 watts)

easy solution, on the fan there are 3 wires, red black blue, cut red and black ones close to tehe 3 pin connector and attach the 3 pin connector with blue wire to mobo, strip the ends of the other 2 about 1/4 inch, now put red into the yellow wire socket on a molex connector, and the black into the black on hte molex next to the yellow, then u have RPM sensing and no risk of burnout

it actually says 12v 0.48a -f00
Is that 0.48 amps? If that is in amps whats is it in watts?

AS I have just stated the power watts is equal to the current times the voltage.
therefore
0.48x12 = 5.76 watts
i suggest you do what was mentioned by random nonsense as you will probably fry your board header otherwise
