download a zip file without any information and no description whatsoever from a person with 1 post.
you'll have to try a little harder than that.
edit: can you blame me for being cautious. but seriously, offer some explanation of what it is or does and put a description of some sort on the website.

On the website it says bLiNd's XP PR Tool....
Description or not it could still be a virus...
1 post or 1000 posts it could still be a virus...
If you're scared then just dont download it.
So what do u think 9mmCensor, is it all good, no bugs etc?

kinda neat, its like a little overclocking calculator. Put in what you got, and what youve overclocked too, and it spits out you % gain and an equivalent P4
btw i thought it was like CPUID when i first ran it, and was kinda choked when it said my 2800 was a 1800, but no, those are just the default numbers

Welcome to the forums. Right now I am bored and owuld probaly download a virus on purpose if I had the chance(I have done that before to mess around). Any way from what I can tell its a neat little app. Could use more cache options though. Was this made in VB? Looks like an app I made once to change Fs to Cs just a lot more complicated. Overall nice work for a simple app.

although you can see its not recognizing my 2800 as a 2800, is this program for XP chips only, it says "for XP" but its unclear whether its for XP the OS or the CPU.
I got a BSOD opening this program, but i think it might have been a random thing. I have opened it probably 12 times without a problem, and after the BSOD, i tried another 20 or so and it worked fine everytime
[edit] i notice you also have an XP chip in the background on the graphic, this is for XP chips, right?

I'm curious to know how close plugging in numbers for XP+'s is equivilent A64's. Just wondering.
I like just playing with numbers, and just seeing what works. Different dividers, etc.
As for future versions... How much does memory timmings play a role in the performance gain %, if at all? Also, I noticed that if I put in no value in anyplace, then click on a different box, it crashes. Maybe put a popup box 'enter a numerical value bla bla bla'.

Being the suspicious ******* that I am, I decided to scan both the 'xp pr tool', and the 'cod rate calc'. I used tds-3, and Symantec corporate version 8, both have updated databases as of 1 hr ago, and hueristic rulesets set to max, <holds up hand> I hereby certify these two progs, to be virus, and trojan free, respectively, according to the programs that I have installed. LOL, but seriously, I scanned them, and there clean.

Also, do you have a version for Win2k sp4? because I hate xp, and when I run the xp pr tool on my machine it says that the file 'misnet.ocx' is missing or un registered, I know this is an xp exclusive file cause I had this issue w/ another prog, any new revisions?
