Should I upgrade?

Hi guys,

This is very short notice, but I want to upgrade my video card. I have a FX 5900XT right now and I have a chance to purchase a GeForce 6800 regular model. SHOULD I DO IT? I have 28 minutes to find out. What is your opinion and will i see a difference in game play. Thx

I would do it, you will notice a difference if your cpu is up to the job, and if you decide not to keep it you can always resell it.

well you should post your current rig all together, if the video card is the fastest thing then it is bottleneck by everything else..... sorry cant be anymore help for now..

Thx for the help at such short notice. I went ahead and went a step further to purchase a new BFG 6800 Ultra. "My wifes gonna kill me"! But the system runs GREAT. So you know what I was up against Ill post my machine specs.

thats a nice system, and nice vid card u got..im assuming its agp right...well, i think u couldve forgone buying the best agp card, cuz of pci express and stuff, but w/e. cant wait to seem some benchese,

well you know i could always use a vid card for a frriend in need..... if you feel like getting rid of the old one hehe...
