Hello,

Anyone think 9600XT reached the optimal driver version yet or do you all recommend the new drivers, just released....

I'm also trying to figure out what is causing my 19" LCD ViewSonic VX910 to flash yellow-white every once in a while, if anyone has heard of this problem, please post...

What's the procedure to downgrade ATI driver versions, uninstall first, or simply run setup of an earlier version?

Before upgrading to AIW 9600XT, I used GeForce4 Ti4200 with which I discovered the hard way to stop updating video drivers at
v41.09 for Windows 9x/Me because the DVD playback is choppy for ALL versions after that.
and
v45.23 for Windows XP because with later versions, you can't customize certain desktop icons for example, etc...

new drivers apply more to the x800 line, i dont tink there is much they could do to add to the 9600XT performance, maybe a few bug glitxhes - best to read the release notes and see if anything applies to you, if not, dont upgrade.

Reboot system into safe mode - remove old drives - reboot normally - install new :D
