yeah what is the cdo you guys are talking about in proccesors and what is the stepping?

That is the internal revision of the processor. Doesn't really add a lot of features but just is an engineering update.

This page (http://support.intel.com/support/processors/sspec/p3p.htm) at the intel support site should lay it out pretty well for you. The 1GHz steppings are weird but if you start w/ the 933 and go down.

(I'm using the steppings for the PIII) Most processors start w/ a B stepping or A then work their way up, usually to the D...never heard of a cEO stepping :). Hope this helps!
