It's watercooling, just instead of a radiator you use a 'bong', which is just an evapourative cooler. You can see a small+basic one at HardwareOC (http://www.hardwareoc.com/matt_bong1.php).

Hmmm, after reading that I have visions of using one of those fountains that have become so popular of late as an evaporative resevoir. Get one with lots of rock or copper and then point a fan at it.

You could have the only water cooling rig endorsed by Martha Stewart!!!

The bong at HardwareOC is pathetic at best. The original is here. (http://www.overclockers.com/articles389/) You might also do a search of this forum.

I aggree COMPLETELY. The one at HardwareOC doesnt have any opening in the top for the air to escape through! The fan is supposed to blow in, and carry air up through a mesh in the top. The mesh stops water mist from coming out.

The HardwareOC one is too small to be very effective too. The water has barely 7 inches to fall before it rejoins together in a pool at the bottom. There should be a MINIMUM of 12 full inches for the water to fall to achieve complete thermal transfer, depositing heat in the air rushing upwards.

PhLuBB - Hard OCP's forums are the home of Xjinn (Steve Pignato), the creator of the bong cooler. I think you mean Hardware OC. BTW, Hardware OC is a shill Site for the Overclockerz Store, not my favorite place to do business.
