I'm having trouble putting up an http server behind a firewall/router hooked to a cable modem.
I've got a Netgear RP114 router, cat 5 cable from there to a switch, then cable to the computer. Internet works fine, no glitches. I've got an ftp server running with port forwarding - no problems. I can port forward identd request - no problems. But I'm having absolutely no luck with an http server.
I've tried three different servers (apache, omnihttpd, infradig) but no luck wiht any of them. Currently I'm running apache. Everything works fine from inside the lan, but the server is invisible to anything on the other side of the router. I've checked my port forwarding, and it looks just the same as the identd and ftpd except that it's port 80. I've checked to make sure no filters are installed that might make things go haywire.
Any ideas on what I'm missing?
