128-bit encryption YAY or NAY?

hi all i was wondering if anyone thinks i should go ahead and "upgrade" to 128-bit encryption..what will it do is basicly what i am asking..is it going to slow my internet connection down?will it restrict me from going to certain sites? any help or comments are greatly appreciated :)

get it. it wont slow your connection, and if anything it allows you to go to more sites and use more services(such as internet banking). besides, its the norm now....IE5.5 and up install it by default.

thank you quizno, i am running IE 6 and i know it supports it but i am also running winXP Pro and when i do the auto update there is no update for 128-bit encryption..does anyone else know where i can get it?

IE 5.5 and up support it. That is why you can't find it. You already have it.
