need help for report

K guy i am doing a project on overclocking. I am still kinda of new but learning so i am hoping this will push me even further . I wanted to know if you guys can recommend some good programs to capture numbers or to rate things such as performace increses, latency , and graphs just to help so changing for each upgrade and tweak ??

If you are looking to investigate the performance difference from overclocking I suggest running a few different benchmarks.

3DMark and Aquamark for gaming performance. Earlier 3DMark versions are more CPU dependant, newer ones are video card dependant.

SuperPi is a good test for the CPU.

Encoding video and audio tests the multimedia capablities of the CPU.

SiSoft Sandra has various benchmarks including CPU, CPU multimedia and RAM.

HDTach tests hard disk throughput (not affected as much by overclocking as CPU/RAM/VCard).
