View Full Version : Few New Items To Consider For Watercooling

I was wandering aimlessly around the service bay at Pep Boys, like I usually do everyday, always thinking to myself on how to find new items to increase the cooling capacity of water in computers. I've come up with two:

Coolant Return System Kits - http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=5133&BQ=jcw2

Radiator Corrosion Inhibitor - http://www.jcwhitney.com/productnoitem.jhtml?CATID=5131&BQ=jcw2

My thoughts about the return system kit, is it can be modified to be an area where the water cools down after leaving the resevoir/pump and before it hits the radiator/heater core. Stick a waterchiller or direct some fans to the return system kit.

My thoughts on the radiator corrosion inhibitor are people are always talking about mixing metals and corrosion and stuff building up in the waterblock, etc. Why not use just one or two of these?

Any thoughts on my suggestions?

Both seem kinda interesting but Id like to know more about them... didnt see much details on them... But the first looks like its just the extra overflow tank... which I see no point for in a watercooling rig... and it also states that its not for pressurized systems i think... (maybe just me seein things... sorry I blinked...) and as far as the second Im presuming that its designed to be the part that DOES rust - Ive seen things that force themselves to rust so as to pull the possible corrosion from the other parts... However it is highly possible thats just me ...
