XP questions

I finally convinced (read annoyed) my GF enough that she let me update her ancient PC, so now I have a brnad new test bed to play with. I'm thinking of installing WinXP on it. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions for me before I start this, the first of many, piece of insanity?

i've had it since the first beta came out on the msdn site. I Like it better then the win9x series. win2k has alot of good features, but I like xp over nething else MS has made.
