My w2k is on it's way, in the mean time I have a question.....

I have already configured the raid to striped and partitioned my harddrives, into 3 with Partition Magic, with FAT32 on all 3 drives.

My question is do I have to fdisk, partition, and format again before w2k install or could I just format the drives?

If I just need to format, would I use the "format c: /z:32" command?

when installing 2k it will format the drive for you and shouldn't mess with the partitions, unless you chose to delete them. You don't have to use any commands to format or at least I didn't.

Shep is right on the money. While there isn't a format utility like there was on the 9x startup disks, Win2K will do all this for you.

Ok, so I won't even have to format c drive before I install w2k, the program does it ?

Another question;
on the raid setup, do I need to mess with the cluster size? I think it's either on default or 64.
