I know i ordered mine but my logitech 640's sux in WoW only any other game they are very nice wonder why that is???




anways can you guys tell me what the 5500's do for WoW and any other games you own ??? ( I will just be coupling it with the Dice ship on my main board sound its 6 channle has dts and is 5.1 surround sound )..... the mother board is a nfs7 S SERIES mobo... )

I have same speakers with same motherboard. I use the optical out on my SoundStorm. Music and movies are great. I don't use the speakers a whole lot for games. I go to lan parties often so I'm used to and prefer headphones, but I did play Half-Life 2 in surround sound and it worked very well. I highly recommend them.

Well, Doom 3 will scare the crap outta you with those speakers, lol

I have the Z-5500's, coupled with my new rig, and I consider myself a hardcore Gamer. I can hear everything crisply, even in CS, where it's easy to define whether or not someone is near you or further away. HL2 sounds awesome aswell, etc etc...

...Is there any specific info you want on these speakers coupled with games/specific games (I have HL2+Source ofc, D3, HW1, Cataclysm + HW2, Q3, Total War: Rome, Crimson Skies, Doom1+2, Diablo 2, XCOM series, Shattered Galaxies, etc etc) ? I could go on and on how awesome it all is, but that in itself doesn't give you much, just my opinion. I can give you pics of my setup if you want...and on that subject...I supposed I could try and record a small MPEG with my digi cam...let me know

depends on the woofer in a car. but no. the bass is sloppy. I have my sub volume set to the absolute lowest because after that it sounds like crap. For games and movies they sound good, but for music i find they just dont cut it @ high volumes.

the only thing comparable i have is my z-680's.... and gabber359.... Doom3 will scare the pants off of you through those as well....
