faulty card?

Just recently I have been having problems with my 9600xt. Sometimes I get a red haise covering the whole screen, sometimes green or blue. Now and again if it appears I would unplug the screen from the back of the card and then plug it back in and it would cure but it seems to happen more often now. I also noticed if it is as normal and then I go to adjust say a games resoloution it will play up.

Few weeks ago I overclocked the card but it ran sweet and is currently not overclocked, could it have become damaged then? Or is it just a faulty connection??

Are you sure its your graphics card and not your monitor? i dont think unpluging the screen cable from the card would do anything to the card so it could be your screen.

edt: just to add if its not that then maybe the card aint plugged in fully, if you disconnect then it works maybe its loose.

Yea, I would try a different monitor first, then check the card.
