Alot of the forums I go to have live chat's for people that are on. Is this ever been talked about?

Is this an option?

Not a good idea here there wouldn't be any posts then. Barely any now.

You can do a search for chat and see what it comes up with. Looks like it was tried a few years ago with disastrous results (basically was a free for all) and OC didn't want anything more to do with it due to some kind of legal repercussions.

Yeah, basically came down to not wanting to monitor it and not having their name on something they didn't fully control i think...

Its not officially OCF or affilied with OCF in any way, but there is a IRC channel called #octeams on the ZIRC server where a bunch of people from OC idle.
