hey all.

i've been running my samsung pc2100 ddr modules at 148mhz at the 2.7v setting on my 8kha for a while now. mbm5 reads 2.77v for the voltage, and i didn't use any cooling.

i installed thermaltake mem cooling kits on both the dimms this afternoon, and they don't seem to have given anything extra just like that. :(

my question is: with the extra cooling on the modules, could i up the memory to the 2.8v setting? mbm5 will prob. read about 2.87v. not sure if that's accurate. maybe more voltage will give me more on the fsb side...?

ta, proze:)

which way did you install the cooling kits? I did the one slim and the large heatsinks on teh back. They do seem to run higher maybe 3mhz fsb imho. Wild_Andy_c did a test on them and said they were more stable by about 4-5mhz. I am running at 2.7 and I don't know about running close to 2.9volts.
